Mein Name im echten Leben ist Doreen, ich bin 23 Jahre alt. Ich führe dieses LJ jetzt bereits seit mehr als 4 Jahren und habe mich in dieser Zeit sehr daran gewöhnt, hier meine Gedanken niederzuschreiben, hier wird man wahrscheinlich bis zu meinem Tod mein Leben mitverfolgen können...

Aktuelle Lebenssituation
Ich bin in Berlin geboren und lebe auch heute noch in dieser großen Stadt. Ich lebe allein in einer Einzimmerwohnung, die aber nur wenige Gehminuten von der Wohnung meines Freundes entfernt liegt. Mein Studium (Englische Philologie und Ethnologie) habe ich diesen Sommer abgebrochen und mache nun eine Ausbildung zur Buchhändlerin, womit ich recht glücklich bin.
Außerdem bin ich Veganerin. Ich denke, das ist das einzig vernünftige, wenn einem irgendwas an dieser Welt und dem, was so alles darauf lebt, liegt.

Vorlieben
Was Musik angeht mag ich Rock, Rock'n'Roll, Alternative Rock, Roit Grrrl... Sowas in der Richtung. Jack off Jill, Scarling, Le Tigre, Queen Adreena, Rasputina, Dresden Dolls, Ani Difranco, Crash Test Dummies... höre ich gern. Ich habe keinen (funktionstüchtigen) Ferneseher, sehe mir aber gern Serien auf DVD an (im Moment bin ich bei Star Trek Voyager, am liebsten mochte ich Monk und Gilmore Girls). Ich lese unheimlich gerne und wohl auch relativ viel, zur Zeit lese ich Die Elfen von Bernhard Hennen. Oscar Wilde ist mein absoluter Lieblingsautor.Ich mag aber auch zum Beispiel Terry Pratchett sehr gern. Also, eigentlich lese ich fast alles gern. Ab und zu nähe ich auch mal was (zB historisch angelehnte Kleidung oder Kleider für's Cosplay) oder zeichne. Ein weiteres Hobby ist Backen, vor allem wenn es um Cupcakes geht. Außerdem spiele ich gern Onlinerollenspiele (oder Pen&Paper Rollenspiele) und surfe im Internet rum.
Meine Lieblingsblumen sind pinke Gerberas!

Mein LJ
Darin geht es um meinen Alltag, meine Wünsche, Träume und Gedanken, hier teile ich der Welt meine Freuden wie auch meinen Ärger mit. Es gibt oft Bilder und ich poste etwa 3 Mal die Woche. Manchmal öfter, manchmal seltener, je nachdem, wie viel ich gerade zu sagen habe und wieviel Zeit ich habe. Ich freue mich immer über Kommentare, kommentiere auch selbst regelmäßig, gebe aber trotzdem nicht zu allem meinen Senf dazu. Ich halte nicht viel davon ständig zu meckern und zu jammern, wenn man nicht bereit ist, selbst etwas zu einer Veränderung der Umstände beizutragen. Auch Lästereien über anderer Leute Kleidung, Liebesleben und dergleichen können mir gestohlen bleiben.
Von neuen Kontakten würde ich mir wünschen, dass sie ein paar Interessen mit mir teilen, es sollte eben einfach passen.

Was schreibe ich in meinem Journal?
So ziemlich alles. Ich verfasse wegen fast jedem Kleinzeug einen Eintrag. Mal sind die Einträge lang, mal kurz. Mein LJ ist eine Art Tagebuch. Viel Real Life, aber auch verdammt viel Fußball. :) Ich bin ein kleines Fangirl und das spiegelt sich auch hier und da wieder.

Ich bin kein großer Kommentar-Freak. Ich erwarte von keinem, dass er ständig kommentiert. Ich selbst kommentiere relativ selten. Auf Kick-Orgien stehe ich so gar nicht.

Was suche ich?
Ich bin da ziemlich offen. Aber der eine oder andere Fußballfan wär schon irgendwie cool ;)

Ich bin 21 jahre alt, und führe seit 2 jahren hier Journal.
In der Zeit is viel passiert, ich habe mich sehr verändert.
Ich bin bipolar gestört, und das is auch ein kleiner schwerpunkt in meinem Journal.

In meinem Journal gibts gelegendlich bilder, gelegendlich zeichnungen von mir und ich bin mal mehr mal weniger aktiv.
An sich bin ich ruhig und les mir alles durch, meinchmal kommentiere ich, meinchmal nich. aber verhältnissmäßig sehr häuftig :)
Ich spiele viel. also zocken is mein hobby.

So there is the final update... Over the past day we have processed around 11 million jobs out of the 12 million that were in queue at that time. Please bear in mind that over this past day, more jobs for notifications are also created. So while the queue has been dropping, we are still not fully caught up at this point, due to backlog and new jobs. We have roughly 3 million jobs still pending that involve the notification system in some manner. We had hoped we could have fully cleared the queue in a day, but unfortunately we can't clear it too quickly, since we need the rest of the site to operate normally. From our current perspective on the amount of jobs that are left in queue, and how many it has processed thus far, we believe it will take around another 8 - 12 hours to process everything.
